Who We Are

International Needs Uganda (INUG) is a Christian Mission and development organization which began operations in Uganda in 1994 in the present day Buikwe District in Central Uganda. It is officially registered as a not-for-profit and a non-governmental organization. INUG is part of International Needs global Christian aid and development partnership of over 30 Countries.

We are committed to transforming lives and changing vulnerable communities. This is done through partnerships with communities aimed at empowering children, Women and men to take lead in their own holistic development. INUG seeks achieve its mission through supporting community development, Evangelism and Discipleship focusing on:

  • Child Rights, protection and Advocacy
  • Education
  • Livelihood Improvements
  • Health
  • Water, sanitation and Hygiene
  • Evangelism & Discipleship

INUG interventions cover 7 Districts of Buikwe, Mukono, Kayunga, Wakiso, Iganga, Mayuge and Tororo in central and Eastern regions of Uganda. We operate from our Offices in Buikwe and Kampala,-Mengo.

  • Supporting communities to care and protect for OVCs to enable OVCs realize their full potentials
  • Supporting Communities access quality primary, secondary and Vocational Education
  • Promote improvement of Livelihoods & subsistence farming of house holds through improved farming practices, strengthening of farmer organizations, supporting of Agricultural value chains and Agro business
  • Promote Christian Evangelism and discipleship through church planting , Missions, crusades and Christian fellowship
  • Promote access to improved water sources, sanitation facilities and persistent hygiene
  • Support communities prevent, mitigate HIV AIDS impacts
